SHOW RECOMMENDED BY THE NATIONAL THEATRE NETWORK (REDESCENA) 2022
"One night at the golden bar is a corny declaration of love set to music that revolves around the fragility of romanticism from the queer perspective. The play is a reflection on the identities that are in a vulnerable and also monstrous place, and how to protect these bodies when they publicly proclaim how they feel when they love. This is the night at the golden bar on which Ana Torroja decided “to attack”. Alberto Cortés
Alberto Cortés (Malaga, 1983) is the stage director, playwright and performer of his own creations. His performing career began in 2009 with a spurious and peripheral dramaturgy which has become more untamed over time. Throughout the years he has not ceased to collide with different creators and friends that have inspired his path, and to generate pieces of different formats and disciplines in an attempt to continue having hope in what is intangible and human. At present, his identity is that of creator, performer, director, playwright, companion, teacher, son, brother, uncle, lover, friend.
