The text is based on different interviews in prison of a young patricide by a playwright who tries to reconstruct the story of the former’s crime, in order to ultimately focus on the representation of these encounters on stage.
The performance generates important questions, including “when does a patricide really begin?” Sergio Blanco distances himself from the ethical dimension of the crime to reflect on the aesthetic possibilities of theatre, using the myth of Oedipus as a reference.
