The Ugandan Sticks offer a hypnotic performance of music, color and movement that transports us to Africa. They dance with the soul to describe their culture, their land, their music, their animals, their faith, their joy, their pain. Their dance is both tribal and contemporary, with slow movements and insane rhythms. The audience is an essential part of their shows, joining in the dancing and playing the djembe drums.
Escenario Pedagógico is one of the most renown companies of children’s theatre and didactic concerts in Spain. It was founded in 2012 in Almeria with the creation of the big hit El rock se cuela en la escuela [Rock sneaks into school], winner of the prize for Entrepreneurial Proposal given by the IAJ (Andalusian Youth Institute). It currently has 8 original shows with which it seeks to find the perfect balance between learning and entertainment.
Trained by the NGO Music to Save Lives, the Ugandan Sticks have performed hundreds of times in Spain and are,  together with the quintet Alba Taano, the financial base of the project and orphanage of the town of Kireka in Uganda, their country of origin.
