Willy Loman is travelling salesman who has devoted his professional career  to the company for which he Works. Now at the age of sixty-three, he witnesses how his position in the company is wobbling and how that crisis extends to his personal life. Caught in a spiral of depression and self-destruction, his sole support is his selfless wife, the only person who seems to understand him.
No one can deny that Arthur Miller was one of the major critical voices of the 20th century, one of the few persons consistent with the idea that theatre must raise awareness and scourge consciences, and analyse the manner in which we live. Muerte de un viajante is unanimously considered a masterpiece. The strength of the story resides both in what it says and how it says it. The masterful portrait of characters who are the spokespersons of a period, but above all are unique and singular in an oneiric atmosphere, is troubling and touching.
