The expression “verbatim” means literal, word by word. It is also used to refer to a type of documented theatre whose dramaturgy is based on a real event.  Jauria is based on a real event: the trial of the collective rape committed by a group called The Pack. 3 a.m. on July 7th in Pamplona during the Saint Fermin Festivities. There are five of them – they are The Pack. They come across a young woman in the street and offer to accompany her to her car. But on the way they get a hold of her and force her into a vestibule.
Dramaturgy based on the transcriptions of the trial of The Pack. Documentary fiction based on real material, too real, that allows us to travel inside the victim’s and the criminals’ minds.  A case that once again shakes our society’s concept of masculinity and its relation with sex. A trial that marks a turning point.
