As children, we are asked: ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’ And we are expected to answer doctor, teacher, football player... and nowadays, YouTuber. But where does someone who wants to sweep ceilings fit in? Sòmion takes us on a journey to a city where all the professions are very peculiar: the man who gets the streets ready, the alarm clock, the bird song teacher, the painter of tree leaves, the seamstress of broken hearts… Everything is possible; and this show is also about imagination and our efforts to make our dreams come true.
Since 2001, the Catalan company El que ma queda de teatre has been putting on shows in theatres and outdoors for all kinds of audiences. In theatres they do actors theatre, although sometimes that may include a song or a puppet. Outdoors on the street, they love to mix theatre with other disciplines, such as circus or magic.
