The Tree of Teneré was an acacia that for a long time was considered to be the most solitary and isolated tree on earth. It was the last survivor of a group of trees that grew when the sand of the desert was full of life. With the onset of desertification, the acacia spent decades alone until the early 20th century, when it was discovered by a caravan of Tuareg nomads on their way to Niger and became an object of veneration. In 1974, a drunken driver crashed into the tree and knocked it down.
La Negra is a theatre company founded in 2017 by the actor and producer  for the purpose of creating shows for children and adolescents that speak about those who are different, are alone or are rejected through the use of a visual, poetic language and a contemporary theatrical proposal based on experimentation and reflection. Theatre of light and colours on “black sheep and cats”. La Negra is a benchmark for puppetry and object theatre for children and adults in Spain.
