Richard Bona, a composer, music arranger, singer and performer of multiple instruments from Cameroun, is specialised in the electric bass guitar (and is one of its greatest players worldwide) and in African rhythms, essential references in his compositions impregnated with jazz, funk and all kinds of musical colours. And now with flamenco rhythms as well, because as he says “it is by exploring differences that one learns where one’s roots lie." Simply listening to the festive and dynamic musician, known as the ‘African Sting’, one grasps the dimension of his discourse which accommodates universal themes with others on which he adopts an explicit position, in particular in connection with injustice and oppression.

With him, Antonio Rey, winner of the National Guitar Award and one of the great exponents of flamenco, mature, precise, sure of himself and with a unique capacity of expression.
