Five of the seven books for vihuela published in the 16th century contain music of Josquin Desprez arranged for different combinations, including for solo vihuela, for voice and vihuela and for two vihuelas, amongst others. This presence, which also extends to other theoretical and didactic sources of the period, bears witness to the composer’s great relevance in the courtesan milieu of the Spanish peninsula, and of the great esteem in which performers and composers held the work of the brilliant polyphonist. On the basis of this unique procedure in the context of books for vihuela, we propose a programme of our  versions of five pieces by Josquin, arranged for two voices and vihuela.
Armonía Concertada is a factory of uchronias, prequels and sequels; of reconstructions. An invitation to travel through a non-existent landscape constructed from real data, signs and reliable accounts. In the course of a decade of uninterrupted work, they have performed in theatres in twenty countries, always with a magnificent response from audiences and critics.
The recording of this repertoire, in addition to being highlighted as an "exceptional album" in the December issue of Scherzo, was included by the magazine among the best of 2021and by the Spanish newspaper El País among the 50 best of 2021, appearing among the top 5 of classical music.
