Íntimo narrates the origins and the history of flamenco, in which dancing appears in its purest state.  A seguiriya announces the maestro’s appearance on stage; from thereon we stroll through the exaltation of famous traditional flamenco musical forms such as the tango, soleá, bulería and alegría. With every movement Farruquito evokes a journey through the genre, full of freedom, bringing its roots back onstage and contemplating the world from inside.

Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya ‘Farruquito’ (Seville, 1982), the heir of a unique flamenco tradition founded by his gandfather Farruco, has made history by establishing a form of dance that conserves the grandeur and pureness of the art from which the refined style and overwhelming power of his lineage stems.   .
Authentic chld prodigy, he made his debut on Broadway at the age of 4; he presented his first season in Madrid when he was 8 years old. At the age of 11, he had already appeared in a music video. And at the age of 15, he presented his first show, Raíces flamencas, demonstrating his skills as a flamenco dancer trained in the most classic flamenco yet capable of adapting it to an utterly prodigious personal style. Other shows followed, including the acclaimed Farruquito & familia (2001), Improvisao (2012) and Íntimo (2020).
